客車和卡車的懸架位移/跪傾位置檢測
霍爾效應旋轉位置傳感器可用于客車或重型車輛的高度系統來感應懸架系統的位置變化。客車的跪傾系統可使其上部結構位置降低，方便乘客上車。霍爾效應旋轉位置傳感器可同時用在系統的操作端和執行端上：一個位置傳感器用來檢測操縱桿的位置，第二個傳感器部署在懸吊臂或懸吊臂連接裝置上來檢測車輛高度。
精確的位置傳感能保證車輛處于符合應用系統所要求的高度上，從而方便了上下車輛。大型載重拖車也同樣可以使用霍爾效應旋轉位置傳感器來檢測拖車車廂的高度，以優化入庫流程。
